3. Applying concepts assignments will include:
A) Summary of the concept: state the concept, provide a definition for the concept, include an example of the concept that is used in the reading, and state how it fits within the objectives of this course.
B) Application of the concept to the group/organization activity. Using the various online resources available by your organization/group, provide an example of how the movement actors (people who wish to seek change) demonstrate the particular concept. For example if we are discussing the notion of “boundary work” in which groups actively try to distance themselves from others as a way to solidify a particular identity, find an example of the group of your choice engaging in this work.
