COMPARATIVE DRAMA ESSAY: Using three Greek drama genre elements called “hamartia,” “peripeteia,” and “anagnorisis”/recognition (Refer to Packet IV.E, p 1-2), compare and contrast…
“The Glass Menagerie” and “A Raisin in the Sun” .
Also, find two (2) literary reviews (one for “The Glass Menagerie” and one for “A Raisin In The Sun,” commenting on the written printed version of both plays (not on the theatrical productions of the plays). Incorporate and cite the reviews as part of your discussion in any of the five (5) paragraphs.

Examine how the term, “ANAGNORISIS”/RECOGNITION,” is reflected in both plays by using specific instances and specific examples from the context and actual text of the play(s). As part of your discussion, also include “PERIPETEIA” and “HAMARTIA” (Packet IV.E, pp 1-2)
Use a minimum of two (2) literary reviews in your essay: one literary review for “The Glass Menagerie” and one for “A Raisin In The Sun.”
Make sure to incorporate comments from both reviews anywhere in your five paragraph essay.

Show the comparative relationship between “PERIPETEIA” and “ANAGNORISIS” (recognition- moment of truth, also called “epiphany” (or” being woke”) in BOTH PLAYS.
Use a minimum of two (2) literary reviews in your essay: one literary review for “The Glass Menagerie” and one for “A Raisin In The Sun.”
