What are some ways you can eliminate barriers to family partnerships? For example, on the families’ side, how could you overcome the barrier of your low-income families not having transportation to attend parent-teacher conferences?
How could you or your school strive to change negative, stereotypical attitudes towards families in the community?
How could you eliminate the belief that some families are not capable or do not care about helping their child be successful in school?
