Swamped with your writing assignments? Take the weight off your shoulder!
After reviewing your notes on the article “Don’t Panic, Liberal Arts Majors. The Tech World Wants You” (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/21/books/review/you-can-do-anything-george-anders-liberal-arts-education.html.) and the TED Talk “Why Tech Needs the Humanities,”(https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/21/books/review/you-can-do-anything-george-anders-liberal-arts-education.html) write a synthesis of the two sources. Your synthesis should accurately summarize what each source is saying (namely, their main argument and key points), while showing your reader–in an organized way–where their ideas are similar and where they differ.
Do not give your opinion. You are trying to clearly communicate to your readers what the two writers are arguing, including what points they agree on and what points they disagree about. Make sure to accurately reference each source (for example, a TED Talk is NOT an article and the speaker is NOT an author).
