My topic is to find the relationship between scholarships and student college choices.
The dependent variable Y is the number of colleges with scholarships, that students choose to attend.
The first independent variable is whether colleges offer scholarships or not and how many scholarships they offer.
The second independent variable is whether students were in a financial crisis or they desperately need scholarships or not.
The first variable I believe has a positive influence and the second has a negative influence. Since students need more money they are more likely to choose to attend a college with higher scholarships. And at the same time, going to college is a very expensive choice for anyone so colleges with higher scholarships are more likely to attract students and affect their choice.
