NU 705 Research Paper : Due October 23rd
Develop a paper examining “Collaboration” as a key business strategy (Not Interprofessional Collaboration). Using collaboration when working with others can be a valuable resource or a hindrance. Your research must include other disciplines than nursing searches on collaboration such as business, psychology, etc.
Use a minimum of five scholarly articles to develop your paper. You are synthesizing the concepts of collaboration, elaborating on what makes it works, hinders, etc.
In addition, discuss 2 different experts’ research findings on the concepts of collaboration for a total of at least 7 key references. Again, focus concepts of collaboration and use other disciplines to broaden your search.
DO NOT use websites to formulate the paper. All articles should be from peer review journals accessed via library searches.

Use APA formatting for scholarly paper
Some components you may choose to include in your paper: (you are making the argument on the use of collaboration as a strategy, be sure to elaborate on this list of topics and other founds via your exploration of the literature)
The body of the scholarly paper should be at least 8-10 page (excluding title page, abstract, table of contents, & reference page) using APA 7th edition, appropriate components of APA including headings, sub headings, grammar, in text citation and references-
No direct quotes- Please paraphrase and use the proper in text citations.
You must submit your assignment to the drop box on the appropriate due date. No late assignments will be accepted. If granted permission to be late for unforeseen circumstances you will lose one grade for each day your paper is late. Example: If you earned an A grade and you were one day late, downgraded to an A-. Etc.…
This is NOT the outline. It is up to you to logically structure the paper and discuss what collaboration is, how it is effective and what hinders collaboration, research on collaboration, etc BUT should include the points below.

• Discuss Collaboration in a discipline outside of healthcare. Identify commonalities and differences as opposed to healthcare collaboration. Identify resourcs that other agency types can bring to the table and how can we work work with outside agencies toward a common goal?
• Include 2 research studies focused on measuring collaboration. Include purpose, sample, methodology, findings, limitations, etc.
• How would the findings impact your organization? Would you recommend collaboration?
• Describe various models of collaboration (at least 2)
